Members of Church of Peace recognized a need in our communities to provide care packages, other than food, to those in need. Peace Pantry supports Church of Peace’s Mission to Love, Hope, Respect, Empower, Forgive & Belong.
When is Peace Pantry available?
For the months of October 2022, November 2022, December 2022, January 2023, February 2023, March 2023, and April 2023, Peace Pantry will only be open on an emergency basis. Area agencies with clients in need can call Church of Peace to request an emergency care package.
Where is Peace Pantry located?
Peace Pantry is located in the lower level of Church of Peace which is located at 1500 S Cascade St in Fergus Falls. Church of Peace is about 3 blocks south of the Cancer Care & Research Center. The building is brown brick and there are multi-colored flags hanging on the brick wall that share our values of “Belong – Forgive – “Ignite Peace” – Empower – Hope – Respect – Love”. Please use the lower level entrance that is in the basement of the church directly off Cascade St. There will be a sign out for Peace Pantry at the end of the entrance.
What is included in the care package?
Items include diapers, wipes, cleaning supplies, personal care items, feminine hygiene products, coloring books, books for reading, puzzle books, blankets, and many more items. The content of the care package changes each month as donations are received and new items are purchased. All items are brand new and unused.
Who is eligible for a care package?
At this time, due to limited availability of care package items, only emergency care packages are available.
